On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, WizdomCRM launched a nationwide E-Classroom initiative for its Sustainable Stock Market AI Game in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The programme is equipping students with practical financial literacy skills, including budgeting, saving, investing, and decision-making, through an interactive digital learning platform. The initiative also highlights the importance of guided instruction, demonstrating that while innovative tools are available to students, initial support is often essential to help them confidently engage and maximize their learning experience.
The Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Social Services, under the leadership of the Honorable Rachel Marshall Taylor, is investing in the human capital of the Turks and Caicos Islands by ensuring that students have access to innovative learning opportunities that develop financial literacy, critical thinking, decision-making, and lifelong skills for success.
A recent E-Classroom session at Maranatha Academy reinforced an important reality facing today's generation: in a world where one source of income is often not enough, young people need to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to create wealth, manage money effectively, and identify opportunities for financial growth.
The session introduced students to the practical side of investing through the WizdomCRM Sustainable Stock Market AI Game, providing a safe environment where they could learn by doing. Rather than simply reading about financial concepts, students actively participated in global and regional markets, gaining firsthand experience in how wealth can be built through informed decision-making, discipline, and long-term planning.
The results reflected strong engagement. Approximately 20 students executed 107 trades, while 14 new students registered following the session, demonstrating growing interest in financial literacy and investment education.
Students explored opportunities across a wide range of markets, including the NASDAQ, New York Stock Exchange, Jamaica Stock Exchange, Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange, Mexico Stock Exchange, and AMEX. Unlike many school sessions that focus mainly on U.S. technology companies, Maranatha students also explored Caribbean-listed securities, broadening their understanding of both regional and international investment opportunities.
During the session, students traded assets such as NVIDIA, Tesla, Apple, Netflix, Amazon, Google, AMD, KLAC, and LITE, while also gaining exposure to regional companies including CIBC, SGJ, MJE, LASM, and WISYNCO. Through these experiences, students learned valuable lessons about market performance, diversification, risk management, and portfolio construction.
Of the 107 trades executed, 32 recorded profits, 17 recorded losses, and 58 remained open or closed at break-even. The high number of open positions was particularly encouraging because it suggested that students were thinking beyond immediate gains. Many chose to hold investments and monitor market movements, demonstrating growing confidence in long-term investment strategies and portfolio management.
The session was about much more than trading stocks. Students were developing essential life skills that contribute to human capital development, including discipline, patience, self-regulation, resilience, critical thinking, and strategic decision-making. These are the same qualities required to succeed in higher education, entrepreneurship, employment, and personal financial management.
Most importantly, the session highlighted the value of giving young people the tools to generate wealth. While the WizdomCRM platform provides access to investment opportunities and financial education, the E-Classroom sessions provide the guidance needed to help students understand how to use those tools effectively. By combining technology with mentorship, students are gaining the confidence to take control of their financial futures.
The experience at Maranatha Academy demonstrates that financial literacy is no longer a luxury, it is a necessity. As students learn how to save, invest, and grow wealth, they are positioning themselves to navigate an increasingly complex economic environment. Through initiatives such as the WizdomCRM E-Classroom programme, students are being empowered not just to earn income, but to build financial security, create opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to the future prosperity of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
