On Wednesday 13th May 2026, WizdomCRM launched a nationwide E-Classroom initiative for its Sustainable Stock Market AI Game in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The programme is equipping students with practical financial literacy skills, including budgeting, saving, investing, and decision-making, through an interactive digital learning platform. The initiative also highlights the importance of guided instruction, demonstrating that while innovative tools are available to students, initial support is often essential to help them confidently engage and maximize their learning experience.
A recent E-Classroom session at Marjorie Basden High School highlighted the transformative role that guided learning can play in building human capital.Prior to the session, platform data showed thatover 50 students were registered on the WizdomCRM platform. However, despite having access totechnology, the registered students weren’t actively participating in Cycle 13 of the Sustainable Stock Market Game. This reflected a common challenge in digital learning environments: access does not always lead to engagement.
Recognizing this gap, a WizdomCRM Education Technology Professional conducted a hands-on E-Classroom session aimed at helping students navigate the platform, understand the value of participation, and gain confidence in using the available tools. Students received support with registration, account access, and platform navigation while learning how investing concepts connect to real-world financial planning.
The impact was immediate.
During the session, students executed 58 trades across major regional and international stock markets, including the NASDAQ, New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE), and Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE). Approximately eight students remained actively engaged throughout the session, exploring investment opportunities and applying newly acquired financial knowledge in a practical environment.
Students traded a variety of assets, including globally recognized companies such as NVIDIA, Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, and AMD, while also gaining exposure to regional securities. The session recorded approximately 21 profitable trades, five loss-making trades, and several open positions, indicating that students remained engaged even after the formal session concluded.
More importantly, the activity demonstrated how quickly students can move from passive users to active participants when provided with structured guidance. The platform itself contains powerful educational tools, including stock market simulations, portfolio management features, and AI-powered learning resources. However, the Marjorie Basden experience showed that students benefit greatly frominitial coaching that helps them understand how to use these resources effectively.
This is where the true value of the E-Classroom programme lies. Beyond teaching students how to trade stocks in a simulated environment, the sessions are helping young people develop critical life skills such as financial planning, analytical thinking, risk assessment, problem-solving, and informed decision-making. These are competencies that contribute directly to human capital development and prepare students for future careers, entrepreneurship, and responsible financial management.
The success of the Marjorie Basden High School session reinforces an important lesson for educational technology initiatives: providing access to digital tools is only the first step. Meaningful outcomes occur when students are supported, encouraged, and shown how to translate technology into learning opportunities.
As the E-Classroom programme continues across the Turks and Caicos Islands, sessions like the one at Marjorie Basden High School are proving that when students receive the right guidance at the right time, they can quickly develop the confidence and skills needed to participate in the modern financial world. Through this combination of technology, mentorship, and practical learning, the initiative is helping to build a more financially literate and economically empowered generation.
